M82 .416
The M82 is a semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle, designed by American company Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company. The M82 design is used by many armies around the world and has seen conflict throughout the Middle East. The M82 is chambered in .50 BMG and .416 Barrett. The variant featured in-game is chambered in the .416 Barrett round. The M82 .416 is exclusive to the professional/recon class and is classified as a semi-automatic sniper rifle. The M82 .416 is a beast of a rifle ingame. While it only has a maximum damage of 90 and a minimum damage or 55, it carries out the 90 damage until an amazing 70 meters and doesn’t reach its minimum damage until is reaches 130 meters. 90 damage is usually sufficient for a 1 hit kill due to the fact that most enemies have sustained a little bit of damage prior to your engagement. The M82 .416 also has an insane bullet velocity of 800 m/s, making it very easy to hit moving targets and targets at longer ranges. The M82 .416 has a fire rate of 360 rounds per minute, allowing it to be spam fired in close quarters as a last resort and double tap targets who are far away. The double tap technique does require some practice, as the high vertical recoil of 2.5 can throw you way off target. When perfected, you can easily dominate the battlefield from afar. The gun shines the most when in hardcore, with almost all of your kills being 1 shot kills. The M82 .416 suffers from the usual flaws of sniper rifles. Those being terrible hip fire accuracy, high recoil, a small magazine capacity of only 5+1 in the chamber and only having an extra 36 rounds and very slow reload times of 3.8 seconds when there is a bullet in the chamber and a painfully long reload of 5.2 seconds when completely empty. The M82 does not have access to the muzzle attachments due to its built-in muzzle brake. Also, this gun may be broken at the moment due to the fact that the armoured insert negates some of its damage and the fact that it does very little damage despite the anti-materiel round that it fires. Once patched, the M82 .416 could easily be the best sniper rifle in Battlefield: Hardline. By default, the M82 .416 will not have any scope, so you will have to use the iron sights unless you have a voucher. However, its iron sights are rather clear and unobstructive, so getting 20 kills without any optics shouldn’t be too much of a challenge. There are different ways I like to run this rifle. For the scopes, I use either the high power 14x hunter scope or the 8x rifle scope, a 2x FLIR optic or a 1x optic (I use the Comp M4). For the accessory slot, I might either use the laser sight or an angled sight.

Scorpion
The scorpion (real name being the CZ Scorpion Evo 3) is a submachine gun from the Czech Republic. It’s chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and is manufactured by Česká zbrojovka Uherský. The Scorpion can be used by all 4 classes on both sides of the law and is classified as a SMG/PDW. The Scorpion is a very effective close quarters weapon. The Scorpion has an incredibly high rate of fire of 1150 rounds per minute and comes with decent reload times with a tactical reload time of 2.2 seconds and a rather slower reload of 3.2 seconds. The Scorpion has an average ammo capacity of 30+1 in the chamber and has an extra 124 rounds. Along with its insane rate of fire, the Scorpion also has good hipfire. The Scorpion is rather useless at range however due to poor accuracy and high recoil. The Scorpion’s damage is quite poor with a damage model of 24 damage out to 8 meters and 12 damage at 24 meters. The Scorpion pulls up hard and to the right with recoil numbers of 0.2 to the left, 0.4 to the right and 0.35 up. The Scorpion has rather obstructive iron sights, so an optic is recommended. The Scorpion is best run with a 1x optic (I use a Kobra sight), a laser sight, and a muzzle brake to try and combat its high recoil.
